The School Picnic
Monday was warm and sunny and we were off to Tunnel Gully for our School Picnic. We played with balls, the parachute, cricket and slid on cardboard boxes down the slopes. After lunch we went for a walk through the bush to the tunnel. It is an old train tunnel. When we walked through it was dark and noisy and a little scary!! We had a great school picnic.

The Fire Brigade come to visit
As part of 'People who help us in the community' topic, a fire engine came to to school on Friday. First the firemen showed the fire engine and all the tools on the truck they need to help them do their job. Then they talked to us about how to be 'firewise' and what to do if there is a fire and the things the firemen do in our community to help us.

Mr Nibbles
Sharon brought Mr Nibbles to visit today. He is a angora rabbit. He is very soft and likes to be patted. We liked Mr Nibbles visiting and hope Sharon brings him again to visit.
